Terms of use

Chomparoo is made by Tobias Hedegaard Eriksen, Denmark (“we”). By downloading or playing Chomparoo you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (the “EULA”), which is the licence for the app. If these terms and the EULA conflict, the EULA applies.

Playing for free

The whole adventure can be played for free. The free version shows ads (see the privacy policy). Levels, worlds and events open on their release dates; we may add, change or retire content over time.

Purchases

• All purchases are made through your Apple ID and are handled by Apple, including payment and refunds. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Hints (hint packs, and hints from gifts or reward videos) are a virtual item used inside the game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged or transferred and are not refundable once used, except where the law says otherwise.
• Remove ads and the Starter pack are one-time purchases. They remove ads between levels on every device with your Apple ID and can be restored with Restore purchases. The hints included with them are given once, on the first purchase.

Chomp+ subscription

• Chomp+ is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. It gives: no ads between levels, double hint rewards from gifts, retries of the daily puzzle, the daily puzzle archive and every past event world. Reward videos stay available if you want them.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel Chomp+ at any time in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. When you cancel, Chomp+ stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• If prices change, Apple tells you in advance and asks for your consent where required.

Fair play

Please don't cheat on the daily leaderboard, modify the app or use it to break the law. We may reset scores that are clearly not genuine.

Progress

Your progress is stored on your device and in your iCloud. We take care to keep it safe across updates, but we cannot restore progress that is lost with your device or iCloud data. Purchases can always be restored through Apple.

The game and its content

The game, its levels, art, music and name belong to us. You may share screenshots and videos of your play.

Liability

The game is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Danish or EU law or the law of your country.
